Volkswagen is extending their ID line-up with the VW ID.7 Tourer! In addition to the flagship ID.7 Saloon, Volkswagen have introduced an Estate to the model range.
Moving forward from their previous success manufacturing Estates, Volkswagen have decided to introduce their first fully-electric Estate to the range. The ID.7 Tourer has an impressively large boot, a spacious and well designed interior as well as sophisticated aerodynamics to ensure efficiency resulting in a battery capable of taking the Tourer long distances on a single charge.
The ID.7 Tourer combines the successful body shape seen in the sporty Arteon Shooting Brake and brand-new Passat Estate with the new technology found in Volkswagen’s electric ID Range, notably the ID.5 SUV.
The interior of the Volkswagen ID.7 Tourer is built for comfort and convenience. The newly designed front seats take comfort to the next level with the innovative massage function. This premium feature uses the inflation and deflation of air pockets integrated within the seat cushions helping to keep you comfortable and relaxed on longer journeys.
The interior is as practical as it is premium. The ID.7 Tourer comfortably seats five adults with increased rear head room compared to the saloon. The boot space can be increased from 545 litres to 1,714 litres with the rear row of seats folded down. This additional space, is perfect for transporting luggage and sports equipment. There is also an option to adjust the rear bench seat into the ‘Cargo Position’, this increases the storage capacity to 605 litres without giving up use of the rear row of seats.
The exterior of the Volkswagen ID.7 Tourer is designed to be sleek and modern, it stands out by combining both of Volkswagen’s EV and standard model range design features. The optional electric ‘Smart Glass’ panoramic sunroof, is an impressive design highlight, allowing lots of natural light to enter the vehicle.
The ID.7 Tourer shines with the innovative IQ.Light. Brand-new matrix technology ensures that main beam wont dazzle oncoming drivers. A light strip has been extended between the LED matrix headlights and the Volkswagen logo, creating a striking face to the ID.7.
