The Crafter Dropside is an asset to any business, especially those that routinely transport bulky, outsized or heavy items, available in two different lengths and as a single or double cab option.
Technology and Interior
Inside the cab, a reach-and-rake-adjustable seat enables the driver to establish a comfortable position. A dual passenger seat ensures that up to three occupants can be accommodated. Standard features include power-assisted steering and electric front windows. A range of storage spaces are situated around the cab, as well as a number of drink holders. Double cab models offer room for up to six people.
The five-speaker sound system includes an RSD 4000 radio. Bluetooth®, USB, AUX and SD connectivity is featured too.
Driver assist systems
An Electronic Stability Programme, Anti-lock Braking System and Traction Control System are among a range of driver aids, as are automatic hazard lights, which activate whenever extreme braking is applied. Passive safety features include height-adjustable head restraints and seatbelt reminders. Double cab models are additionally fitted with child-proof locks. An electronic steering wheel lock, an engine immobiliser and remote central locking are fitted to help keep the vehicle secure.
The vehicle is also fitted with front and rear towing eyes. Lighting includes range-adjustable headlights, daytime running lights, a rear fog lamp and roof marker lights.

Exterior design
Exterior features include (electrically heated and adjustable) door mirrors and adjustable convex mirrors (incorporating indicators), each providing optimal visibility. The vehicle is also fitted with front and rear towing eyes. Lighting includes range-adjustable headlights, daytime running lights, a rear fog lamp and roof marker lights. The flexible Crafter Dropside comes in medium and long wheelbase single cab iterations, and an additional long wheelbase double cab variant, allowing you to choose between 3.77-metre and 4.33-metre options.
Performance
A 2.0-litre diesel engine offers four power options ranging from 108bhp to 161bhp. The latter, a twin-turbo unit, returns up to 37.7mpg and 208g/km of CO2, making it both the most powerful and fuel-efficient choice. The Start/Stop system improves fuel economy further by automatically cutting the engine whenever it is not needed, at traffic lights, for example.
