*The Electric Car Grant is a UK Government grant to promote the purchase of certain new electric vehicles. The grant is not exclusive to Volkswagen Group United Kingdom Limited. Selected ID.3, ID.4 and ID.5 models are eligible for this Grant within Band 2, meaning eligible customers purchasing a qualifying vehicle will receive £1,500 off the purchase price. The grant is available when purchasing ID.3 Pure, ID.3 Pro, ID.3 Pro S, ID.4 Pure, ID.4 Pro, ID.5 Pure and ID.5 Pro where the purchase price of the vehicle paid by the customer is below £42,000. The purchase price is defined by the UK Government/OZEV as RRP (including VAT) plus options, plus VED and minus any cash discounts a Retailer or Volkswagen UK may wish to offer. Please speak to your local Volkswagen Retailer to clarify the purchase price and subsequent eligibility for your chosen configuration. Offer open to new or existing customers of OVO Energy who: (1) are UK residents excluding Northern Ireland, 18+, (2) have purchased/purchase a brand new fully electric vehicle from any Volkswagen Passenger Cars dealership through Retail, Contract Hire or Motability between 1st July 2024 and 30th September 2025 (3) activate OVO Energy's 'Charge Anytime' and (4) have not claimed 'free miles' under a previous Volkswagen Group or OVO promotion. The efficiency figure is also based on standardised test data after the battery had been fully charged (to 100%) and may not reflect real world driving. Actual efficiency differs depending on multiple variables, including selected vehicle and configuration, accessories fitted (post-registration), variations in weather, driving styles, route conditions, speed, vehicle age, battery age and temperature and vehicle load. The actual number of free miles the customer receives may be less than the maximum stated miles and will depend on the actual efficiency of the selected vehicle in the real world. Offer is for an estimated number of free miles calculated on the basis of the costs to the customer when they 'smart charge' using 'Charge Anytime'. Actual sum is £542.81. When you add Charge Anytime to your plan, your home energy rate will stay the same, but the energy consumed by your EV will be charged at an effective rate of 7p per kWh when EV smart charging (thanks to payment of your Charge Anytime charging credit). The £542 saving is based on an average Charge Anytime customer using 3100kWh a year to charge their EV using the Charge Anytime add on. The Charge Anytime rate on 01/07/2025 is 7p per kWh for Charge Anytime charging compared to the OVO’s UK average SVT rate of 24.51p per kWh. Actual savings will vary depending on vehicle efficiency, driving style, EV charging usage and the cost per kWh of your standard home energy tariff.
