How does BYD Motability work?
The Motability Scheme works by exchanging all, or part of your mobility allowance to lease the vehicle of your choice. In some cases, the vehicle requires an Advance Payment, which is an upfront payment from yourself.
To be eligible and get yourself a brand new BYD on the Motability Scheme you must be in receipt of one of the following, as well as have at least 12 months' award length remaining.
- Higher Rate Mobility Component of Disability Living Allowance (HRMC DLA)
- Enhanced Rate Mobility Component of Personal Independence Payment (ERMC PIP)
- War Pensioners' Mobility Supplement (WPMS)
- Armed Forces Independence Payment (AFIP)
