Audi have released their fastest and most powerful production car ever made. This next generation model is apart of the brand-new Audi electric GT range, also featuring the Audi S e-tron GT and the Audi RS e-tron GT. With brand-new technology, updated styling and additional power, the RS e-tron GT Performance is the perfect combination of the Audi Sports and Audi E-tron brands.
The brand-new Audi RS e-tron GT performance offers an incredible 748 PS for everyday driving which can be boosted to 925 PS with launch mode, making it the most powerful Audi production car. Charging has also been improved thanks to an additional 50 kW compared to the previous generation, providing 320kW DC charging. This allows the RS e-tron GT Performance to charge from 10-80% in just 18 minutes. The maximum range achieved is equally as impressive at 336 – 365 miles. This increase is due to the large 105 kwH battery and efficient rear motor.
Audi have also introduced active suspension that individually controls all four corners of the car resulting in optimum comfort and performance driving. This allows the RS GT Performance to be customized to your preference whether that be a comfortable cruise or a sportscar feel.
Audi RS e-tron GT Performance Exterior
Two brand-new colours are available with the Audi RS e-tron GT Performance, Nimbus Grey which is also available on the RS e-tron GT, and the eye-catching Bedford Green which is exclusive to the Performance edition. Matt carbon camouflage styling has also been exclusively added to the RS e-tron GT Performance edition, this adds a unique design to the mirror housing, front bumper L winglets, side inserts and rear diffusor inserts.
Another exclusive styling point for the Performance edition is the brand-new darkened matt carbon fibre roof, this can also be upgraded to the optional panoramic glass sunroof with switchable transparency.
Additionally, large aero channels in the diffuser improve the airflow and, in combination with the striking red reflector pay a homage to motorsport.
Audi RS e-tron GT Performance Interior
Inside a blend of luxury, quality and sportiness takes over. The interior feels comfortable and spacious due to the Gran Turismo proportions yet the displays have been angled to the driver to replicate a monoposto cockpit. Technology is at the centre of this RS Performance interior. The Audi Virtual Cockpit takes over behind the steering wheel, displaying an abundance of information specific to this RS model.
The steering wheel has been completely redesigned with a flat bottom and top with finishes in cloth and red stitching for additional control. Racing-inspired Audi drive select and push to pass buttons have also been incorporated. There is also the option to add the Red 12 O’clock marker with the Carbon Black and Carbon Vorsprung trims.
Every brand-new Audi RS e-tron GT Performance features Sport Seats Pro as standard. Finished in Fine Nappa leather, the seats can be controlled by an 18-way adjustment and memory function. The RS logo has been integrated and illuminated, resulting in a sporty and luxurious package.
