Audi have announced that the largest and most versatile SUV will now be available with a Petrol Plug-In Hybrid engine adding to the brands popular TFSI e range.
The Audi Q7 range is getting a refresh for 2024. The new updates will feature the new Audi design language and branding, with minimalist form and clean surfaces throughout.
The updated Q7 TFSI e features updated battery technology and more efficient driving modes, resulting in up to 52 miles of pure electric range.
There has also been a redesign to the exterior which includes new front and rear aprons, a new grille design and air intakes and brand-new HD LED Matrix lighting combinations.
The Audi Q7 TFSI e has been designed to stand out and look powerfully sporty. It maintains SUV proportions and striking design details both at the front and rear of the vehicle. The new Audi corporate identity has been included in updated design, with the new Audi Rings badging and the CI B Pillar.
Audi have added vertical inlays in an L shape to the popular singleframe in the octagon design. This striking change indicates to the Q7’s position as a flagship model in the Audi range. The grille has been given additional contours and the headlights have been repositioned, resulting in a brand-new front design. Decorative elements to the face of the car have been reduced to give a cleaner and more purist appearance.
There is no doubt that Audi would create a luxurious and comfortable interior cabin for the updated Q7 TFSI e. For increased levels of comfort, three-zone deluxe automatic air conditioning has been included to offer adjustable temperature controls for the driver, passenger and those in the rear, with the option to upgrade to 4-zone deluxe automatic climate control by choosing the Vorsprung specification or adding the Technology Pack Pro.
LED interior ambient lighting with illuminated door sill trims and ‘S’ logo projection create a vibrant and personalisable interior. Audi has also chosen to feature the electrically adjustable front Sport seats with 4-way lumbar support and memory functionality for the driver. Valcona leather with ‘S’ logo embossing and diamond stitching has also been added to the seats, ensuring comfort for everyone travelling within the vehicle.
Practicality has always been at the forefront of design when updating the Q7, capable of comfortably seating five, the Q7 has ISOFIX child seat mounting to the all three seats in the second row. Boot space is also very generous with 563 litres and a user-friendly power operated tailgate.

The new Q7 introduces a complete reimagination of the front-end design with the repositioned headlights and grille contour. With diminished decorative elements, the Q7 takes on a cleaner, more purist look. The new SUV lineup boasts three core specifications: S line, Black Edition, and Vorsprung. With the latest product upgrade, Audi offers three new finishes - Sakhir gold, Ascari blue, and Chilli red. The model features standard equipment like quattro all-wheel drive and 20” 5-spoke turbine design aluminium alloy wheels. There is also the option to upgrade to 22'' multi spoke ‘S’ design wheels with a black metallic gloss turned finish.
The lineup opens with the 45 TDI quattro, a 3.0-litre diesel engine delivering 231 PS and a staggering 500 Nm of torque. Other options include the 50 TDI quattro and the Q7 55 TFSI, offering more power and speed, with the TFSI reaching an electronically-limited top speed of 155mph.
Along with the Q7 SUV, Audi are also bringing updates to the SQ7 models. The brand-new SQ7 will be in keeping with the Q7’s new updates but will feature a larger petrol engine with an output of 507 PS, capable of sprinting from 0 to 62 mph in just 4.1 seconds.
Audi have enhanced the driver assistance systems, with the Audi virtual cockpit now displaying numerous new features in full HD. The range of apps has been expanded, which allows the user to use popular third-party apps and offering regular software updates for an increasingly personalised infotainment system.
Audi introduces a new lighting technology, with Matrix LED headlights being standard. Top-spec Vorsprung model gets HD Matrix LED headlights with Audi laser light, increasing the high beam range. New digital daytime running lights deliver an unmistakable appearance with a choice from four different light signatures. The Q7 is also the first to feature largely digitalized OLED rear lights, illuminating the road with striking clarity.
