Audi have launched of the brand-new A5 Avant. Taking the best from the Audi A4 and Audi A5 ranges, the new model will be built on the all-new Premium Platform Combustion and will have a more efficient combustion engine than ever before.
The all new Audi A5 Avant benefits from an enhanced exterior design with an emphasis on powerful proportions. The interior has been fully digit`alised and features a selection of innovative technology.
A choice of petrol and diesel engines will be available when purchasing the brand new A5 Avant. MHEV plus technology is also available which will allow partially electric driving.
A5 Avant Exterior Design
The Audi A5 Avant is stylish and full of character, the striking presence makes a statement as the first Estate in the Audi A5 range. The practical proportions make everyday commuting an ease with sporty accents to improve the appearance. The aerodynamics have also been central to the exterior design with sharp side lines and flush door handles.
Audi’s recently updated design choices can be seen through the wide single frame grille and aerodynamically shaped air inlets. Sport styling comes as standard with aluminium window trim, this can then be upgraded to black styling details with the Edition 1 trim level. The A5 Avant gets either 18” 5 twin spoke design alloy wheels or 20” Audi Sport alloys with front and rear red brake calipers.
A5 Avant Interior Design
The interior of the A5 Avant is the perfect place to sit back and relax. The front sports seats are finished in twin leather upholstery and feature the 4-way electric lumbar support this provides maximum comfort. The seats can be upgraded to the microfibre Dinamica and leatherette upholstery with the Edition 1 specification. Other highlights to the interior include the Ambient LED lighting, which provides a choice of 30 colours and illuminates the cabin to the driver’s preference. The car’s climate is also taken care of with the heated front seats and 3-zone electronic climate control which offers individually adjustable temperature areas.
The Avant shape is the most practical in the Audi A5 lineup. The new shape offers five doors, five seats and additional load space. The additional space and practicality can be seen throughout the car’s interior with additional space for both the driver and front passenger, and the additional three passengers occupying the rear row. The rear seats also offer versatility as they split fold, the boot space is very impressive at 476 litres.
